Ultrasound Small Animal
The black area represents blood from a bleeding tumor. We were able to determine this within a few minutes of our patient walking in the door.
This shows a healthy Boxer puppy at a prenatal check. The ultrasound shows a fetal heart rate just like a baby! You can see the spine and head of the puppy in the picture.
Therapy Laser
Our therapeutic laser being used to help soft tissue swelling with Charlie's knee. Therapy lasers are used more and more for chronic arthritis, disc disease, and soft tissue swelling. They have also been shown to speed healing with chronic wounds.
Digital Dental X-ray
The arrow demonstrates an abscessed root of two mandibular pre-molars. We were able to quickly tell with our digital x-ray which teeth needed to be removed. We used our state of the art dental high speed drill to safely extract the teeth.
Tono pen Tonometer
We acquired the tonopen to accurately determine intraocular pressure. This helps us to determine glaucoma before the eye becomes blind and this can save vision.
Monitoring equiptment
This patient has both a Doppler and another monitoring unit that is measuring blood pressure, oxygen saturation, ECG, carbon dioxide, and temperature to ensure that anesthesia is safe and uneventful. All of our patients are hooked up to IV fluids during anesthetic procedures.
